Picture of Museum
OK Three wheels, Andre, Nkwazi, Barry and others on this thread.
The picture of the Museum is the King Sobhuzas memorial in eZulwini, Swaziland, taken early morning to accent the shadows. Used a Nikon F3 with Ektachrome and scanned.
The dam is Spioenkop taken from below the hill where the battle was fought. Looks different eh !!
The runway is not a runway, its the long taxiway leading to the main runway at Ladysmith. I never landed on the main runway as its so far to taxi.
After taking a look at the Swazi pics again, I am seriously considering using my Nikon film camera again, wow ektachrome is awesome.
I use a Fuji 9500 as its light in the air. You can hang it for hours round your neck. We use a 24 inch iMac for editing..
Andre, Barry, what about that book ?? Be a nice Christmas book and help the forum out financially, get some sponsors together. Also can be sold at Duck Rogers Teddy stall type shows..

Book sounds good Paul. I can try and arrange some small sponsors as well. May even invest a few $ myself.
I will have to be guided by someone in the business though as I have no clue about publishing...except common sense.

Hi Guys,
A book would be a fantastic idea, certainly would be on my coffee table.
Some advice on the photography, the images would be best if shot in raw mode or at least 8 mil pix and on the highest resolution available. This all helps with the editing as there would be some cropping and colour adjusting done. All that is then needed is to get the layout design done and to put the " meat on the bone"
