Daytrip to the Limpopo

Postby t-bird » Mon Feb 18, 2008 10:26 pm

I was watching the weather the whole week and decided that Sunday the 17 February is fly day.

The numbers per the GPS
514 km
3.543 hours
Average 144.98 km/h
90.00649 statue miles

From Summit at 09h30
An old favorite by now the Tswaing crater north of Pretoria

Had to orbit Mabalingwe 3 times due to the cars on the runway. Always wanted to taxi to the fuel pumps and fill her up.

Awesome trip t-bird, shot for sharing!!! (^^)

Been fortunate enough to fly into the Tswaing crater in a heli years ago. Best kept secret around!

I have an interest in a game farm on the Sand River and would dearly love to fly there but its a little far from the fairest Cape so I am with you in spirit only
