Punctures

Postby Condor » Thu Feb 14, 2008 10:20 pm

Johan and myself had punctures at Thsipise. Here we are very busy to fix this.

I experienced a comaradary amongst the guys, "What can we do to help?"

Thank you for all the help offereded, 12V pump, talking @*#, etc.

We want to plan a "de-briefing" of the weekend and plan the next one at a breakfast at Kitty Hawk in March. Will post a date soon.

See you there ............

Hi Condor

How did you make sure that the nuts on the split rim was torque equally after repairing the flat ?

These rims are quite sensitive and could easily be over torque and bent.

Or the pressure of the tubes will bent the rim if the bolts are not on the same torque

Haven't been able to access Microlighters.co.za and Avcom.co.za for the last 7 days or so. Not sure what the problem was. Am glad it's working again. Here are some photo's from our trip to Tshipese.

Concensus was that this was the largest fly away to date in SA for gyro's, with around 30 odd gyro's taking part!
