Jeez, I can't think of a worse power plant !!

Low power, bad vibration, bad fuel consumption, oil leaking for a start, and oh, EXPENSIVE

Did I mention vibrating and oil leaking.... ?

Maybe the guy can consider chroming his whole trike :D

I think I prefer a VW

Has any body thought of a KTM

Postby ZULU1 » Sun Feb 10, 2008 9:06 pm

Would not be my choice but horses for courses, seriously though I have been considering buying the new KTM 690 Duke, 68 hp and balance shafts etc. but a really potent motor is the Super Duke 990 cc and you can buy the whole machine cheaper than a 912. Such a nice tool a shame to cut it up..

What a piece of sh!t

a moerse heavy motor, that barely produces 50hp, rattles every nut, bolt and tooth filling loose. Not prone but rather guaranteed to sudden stoppages.

Besides where are you going to install the chrome and leather panniers and tassles :?:

I've often read through various trike manuals and have never seen a chapter on "HOW TO F**K UP A TRIKE WITHOUT BENDING A SINGLE PART". Wouldn't fit the motor to my lawnmower. Hey wait a minute. BLING, BLING. Anybody know who can chrome a lawnmower?
I sometimes get confused............But i'm not sure

And how many Harleys have you owned?

I agree with you 100% that this is not a aircraft compatible engine, but to critisize anythig without owning one is not the way to go.

I take it was a joke. If it was I suppose you know why harleys have tossles.

If they are 90 deg to the back, you are really at speed (ok faster that walking).
45 deg to the back - you are slowing down
90 down - time to put down your feet

very rare, but I should have seen this one coming.

I sound better than a lawnmover engine.
