Not legal, but that never been issue in SA..   Seems like WX was good, no wind and plenty clearance. Assuming he inspected the area on other side (there were multiple passes so I assume he was pretty comfi) it would not be that "risky a move providing there was sufficient clearance for king post and he knew EXACTLY where it was.... Looks Cool if it works out. Branded an Idiot if not? My question would be why? (Same question I ask the PTAR boys who go under tlelphone wires at 200kts)

Some of the blik aero's boys did it as Red Bull stunt some years back inverted 3 m above ther water at 200kts...   Different strokes for different folks.

PS
While I was training with the guys at Circus/Panorama in 2002 (I think?) there was a guy going under the road bridges on the R59 into on coming traffic.    Can you imagine coming home from Vtown after long day at Iscor, keeping a vigil eye for the long arm of the law waiting unda dat bridge with the then hi tech GATSOMETER and coming face to face with a trike....

A Once famouse Pik Botha used to say,

"And to the National Party supporters, may you have a safe trip home,.............and to the rest, who the hell am I to tell you what to do?" :)

Yeah, it's IDIOTS like these that eventually kill themselves and give us a bad name. Very irresponsible. He should have his license revoked for a year.

HIS Viper spent a long time in the repair shop and was eventually sold for R45,000 including a new 582 engine - Mad bloody mad

He wouldn't have done it if he didn't have CAA approval.
