Petit Airfield freq - Incorrect in Microlight Airfields book

Did you know that PETIT airfield ''that is almost next to Microland and on route to a lot of other airfield'' has change their Feq to 133.20.. well aparently for a year allreay.Be aware .. The Microlight airfeild Booklet and others still has it as 125.4 and that 133.20 is a general informal freq.

I had a close call between myself (cobra and fix wing on 12 Des 07) I planned the route and even done some book worming on the Petit airfeild but to no avail '' Sorry to who ever was in the fix wing as I only realized it was my mistake after landing back at Nigel.

Advice : allways phone ahead if traveling to unknown airfeilds and do NOT trust publiched booklets that might be out dated.

Can't they mark out the frequency with white stones next to the windsock?

Yes it is - Sometimes the last number has a few stones missing, and you struggle to make out that it is in fact a 0 (133.20) - the reason being that these missing stones were thrown at the okes who did not broadcast on the right frequency before landing

I was flying that day and it was the big bald guy in the fixed wing. I dont think he has any bad feelings though.

On the latest Avimap freq chart it is 133.20
