Rotax Spares

I was wondering whether you think that Rotax spares are expensive or is it just me.

I've got to agree with Demon regarding the service and support but I think the spares ARE expensive........however, its a worldwide phenomenon and not just here in SA. I have, on numerous occasions, requested prices from my sources in the USA and UK and after converting the R/$ or R/£ most items are very similarly priced as to what we would pay here.
I'm talking about genuine Rotax parts, not aftermarket copies.
Airspeed, altitude, or brains....you always need at least two

I have one of these Korean 4y 2.2liter engines in my Venture. The gaskets were kak, and I replaced the intake manifold gasket and the head-gasket within the first 1000km. Since this engine has done well over 150,000km with NO problems. Mmmmmm. Now if those korean guys would be so nice as to make a nice copy of a 912......... :wink: :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
