The Potgietersrus airfield is temporary closed.The mine is busy redoing the runway and the airfield.

Nico, patching surely would not have done the trick. I'm am glad they are redoing it!!!

We (Lonmin) have a mine in LebowaKgomo and Akanani, just outside Potties.

You must arrange with the pilots from Pietersburg,and I shall arrange with the Potties pilots -but only for next year.

The other mines also use the runway,but only the PPl mine is redoing the runway.

It has Russian and RSA flags on the stabilizer. Made me think of Rocketman on this forum. Must have been his mode of transport from Mother Russia!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Please DO NOT use the Potgietersrus runway for about a week.
The contractors are busy tarring the runway & asked us not to use the runway for about a week.
There was a plane landing on the runway today.There is big white crosses painted on the runway.
Barnstormer:The airfield would be ready by the 14th of December(we hope so).
