Hire & fly

Postby Thermal » Sun Nov 04, 2007 8:23 pm

Hi John

Thanks for the reply. We will be going to Umhlanga from the 24th November for a week. I would love to go for a flight some time in that week. I dont mind traveling to a field I think it will be cool to make a flight outside of the comfort zone of special rules.

Would it be an issue to hire a plane due to my low hours?

My brother used to train at light flight, it was a few years back. I think it is close to maritzburg?

Thanks
T

Now listen "Gud" !!

Postby John Young » Mon Nov 05, 2007 6:58 pm

Guys,

Now listen "Gud" :!:

If you "wanna" pay BEEG $$$$$$$ then go to Ballito Airfield by all means.

If you "wanna" jol - then come to Light Flight.

If you want to fly yourself, take a quick check out, load the missus and off you go.

By the way, this “Honest Broker” is selling "nix" – just offering free flips to visitors or a wing to fly on if you don't want to get lost.

The coast is not all it's cracked up to be - plenty wind and concentrated Beachcraft Barons visiting with no local knowledge, flying off frequency and doing 240+ knots during the Christmas period - enjoy if Kamakazi is for you

Hi Dave,

We know.

Brad and I saw the top of a 737’s wing. The 737 had obviously been cleared for a visual approach at DIA.

We were cruising at 4 500 feet over the Eston & Tala Valley Game Reserve area. 737 passed about two miles to the west of us.

I rarely go above 1 000 foot agl anymore.

Andre, Pat Two, nicow & others,

Light Flight is located in the Cato Ridge area – approx. 15 minutes drive from ‘Maritzburg.

The “free flips” only apply to the Microlighter buddies on this forum.

Hi Thermal,

My hourly rates are equal to exactly R 0 / Nil / Zip / Nix.

Hope that you can afford it.

If you “wanna” hire & fly, there are two options. As I said, email me to set up contact.

Bring meat – braai coals are always ready.
