The battered flying school aquillia (never realy trusted it since a fellow student went farming with it in some bushes on the side of the runway). Heavy mist so we only took off at 10:00 and then we had to fly tight little circuits around the patch. Good thing was it kept the blik aries on the ground.

Flew my t-bird for a trip round harties late Saturday afternoon. Stunning conditions. Saw 2 trikes routing straight over the damn - that really looked awesome.

GRRR - I have a palm tree next to my pool and I have learnt that if I shine the torch at it at 0500 in the morning I should not even bother for the 75km trip to Klip!

This engine noise thing is driving me crazy and between the palm and RL I had to stay at the office today!

I am grumpy, last time I flew was on Friday, a trip out to Panorama and the noise was so bad I could not figure out who is doing what where so I circled like an idiot for like 10 turns and turned back to klip!

Got to Klip, the circuit packed and I could not hear who is where so I decided to go east - for 15minutes before the sun sets... lekka boring, Special *Spark*Spark*Spark*East*Spark*Spark*Spark*

Get my drift ;) So tomorrow my neighbour, who is a retired SAA flight engineer is going to the field with me for company, with his torque wrench and his overalls... He might even go for a flip ...

Yours,
forever addicted

Demon I now have a problem with my medical and my case has to go before CAA's medical board which sits once a month (not sure when the next one is). This is because I have a bad limp caused by an old skydiving injury. Fortunately its my left leg that's the problem, not my right which operates the throttle. I only need the left for taxiing, which I don't have difficulties with. Its frustrating, if I'd known that I would have done my medical long time ago. Now I have to prove to the quacks that I can handle the plane. Shouldn't be a problem, just the delay's killing me :(

Don't think it will be a problem to the extent that I won't be able to fly solo at all. Its just a hold up. :?

I got 7 hours in ;)

Friday afternoon meeting you chaps at Circus... Saturday morning met a long time buddy from the Internet for the first time and took him around the patch. Came back and the one exhaust mount rubber was tearing, replaced it and had 45minutes in the evening...

Went to the Vaaldam wall on Sunday morn and flew all along the river from there...

Today my coxix is killing me! 6 hours driving up and done to the field and 7 hours in the air... I will live with the pain

I have not flown a second yet since Sunday... BUT, my trike is loaded onto my trailer (which I just bought in the nick of time), the car is packed.. At the nick of dawn Saturday morning I will be de-rigging the wing, loading it atop my trike and be making haste for Hoedspruit!

I have 512MB of RAM in my digital camera and will SURELY be putting up a site with piccies of my first ever out of town experience!!!

Are we there yet daddy?
