Posting Problems

Postby gertcoetzee » Thu Oct 18, 2007 9:41 am

I still have a problem downloading messages, and especially messages with pictures to this forum.

It just seems to hang..

This happens with Firefox and IE.

Are you getting a "php" type error, i.e. a white screen with some sort of php code or does it just say "Page cannot be displayed"

Gert
Can you try to upload some where else.

A bit of a schlep i know but we need to eliminate the Vodacom connection so if you can get to a place where you can use wireless or something else to connect we can start to eliminate the big problems

Search on AvCom for Vodacom and proxy. Some users have experienced the same problem owing to the caching of pages on the Vodacom servers.

To be honest i also think it is the Vodacom network.

Quite a few of my Lecturers that work from home have a similar problem and there are a few things we do to zip that machine up a bit.
