Must agree with Gadget. IVAO (International Virtual Aviation Organisation) is the best off them all. Last when I've checked there was over 70 000 members worldwide. My favourite ILS approach was in to Schipolt with a 747-400 when it was snowing and you had to try and listen to what the ATC tells you in a heavy Nederland’s accent. I'm a member for many years now (inactive at the moment). You also write online exams to go from FO to Capt and Snr Capt etc. I've got all the South African real airport scenery and small airfields like Microland. Beware this is very addictive and you WILL get in to trouble with the wife. Once I was thinking of exchanging the wife for a big dog, that way I could only pick up shit once a day. :D

Hi everyone
I flew on line last night. -what a blast!
The guys that I flew with were super helpful and friendly and got me hooked up with all the necessary stuff.
If you enjoy flight sim I would highly recomend this. If you are intersted let me know and I can help you get setup, its really pretty easy and fun.

See you Stephen

Hi there everyone,im a keen flightsimmer, used FS2002 and now Fs2004,would love to fly and own FSX,but from my point of view,I would love to wait and give it a rest for a couple of years until the have sorted out the bugs and fixes on FS2004,as I understand, they are working on SP2 for FSX.So I still use FS2004,and have purchased and downloaded many add-ons for FS9,included in the purchased list,is the well known winner PMDG 737-6/7/8/900 version,Carenado C182Q,Aeroworx B200,Dreamfleet Baron B58,and NMG scenery for South Africa. And with many other high quality freeware add-ons out there on www.avsim.com and www.simviation.com.
I have logged over 700hrs on FS2004 alone, excluding FS2002 flying hrs.My favourite of course is the PMDG 737-800,which I have in the colors of SAA and Mango airlines, and a fictional color scheme on the B737-700 version in Kulula.com colors, which is very functional, for those not familiar with it,included is the FMC,and I have alos purchased an add-on for the B737 which adds a virtual first officer, ground crew, flight attendants which makes its highly realistic, and yess....took me a couple of weeks to get used to this magnificent lady.
or those who would love to join a forum website, which im on as well, visit www.fsx.co.za, a highly supportive website with people from all around the world, with the manager being the ATC controller from Cape Town Intl.
here's some pics I took of FS9 with PMDG 737-800.
