Hi guys and girls,
Can any one help me out here and tell me if it will be possible to do a side slip manouver in a trike. Not that I need to do that but just having an argument about ths and I always thought you need rudder input for side slipping. Awaiting all your clever okes reply

On the way to Numdi I was bored and started moving the front wheel left to right to left and so on, mainly to get circulation going in by feet. I was quite amazed how much yaw it produced on the trike. So technically it can do a bit of sideslip but I would not try it close to landing.

Some trike wings can have a sort of side slip, again used for loosing height. Done by pushing the bar out, then sideways, which causes the trike to side slip, and loose height VERY quickly. Once again, practice with care, with lots of alitude.
On the other hand, as of now, Iv never had the need to use this manuver.
