New Pilot In Training: SOLO!!!

Postby Relborg » Thu Sep 20, 2007 4:42 pm

Hi Guys
I started the week with my medical and passed. Good start.
Did my first hour of training with Mike at Panorama today.

Everybody at work kept on asking if I got lucky last night

I suspect this grin is gonna stay for a bit.

I can't believe it can get any better, will keep you posted.

We flew with one of the school Raptor trikes. Don't ask me anything else about it, the first flight and everything that goes with it was all a bit overwhelming :) Sure I will get to know it more intimately over the next few weeks.

Hope to see you there soon Maverik, I know I’ll be spending allot more time there

Hour #2

Postby Frootbat » Wed Sep 26, 2007 9:27 am

Relborg did his 2cd hour on Monday morning, he has a permanent stick-on smile now. He is also one of the many that have lost touch with reality....flying is all that counts now. Nothing wrong with that.

C U in the air soon......this 'soon' might be a while, because of the Donder & Bliksems which are approaching us, fast and furious.

Hou so aan Dirk..........

Frootbat, it was great talking to all the flying nuts on Monday. Before you know it another 2 hours gone just talking about flying and planes  Thanks for all the info it makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable.

For the first time I'm scanning the weather forecast to see when this will clear up. Doesn’t look good for my next session Friday morning.

Morning Fellow Flyers

Did my solo with Marc at Panorama today. What a feeling!!
To all of you that said it only gets better I believe you now.

The circuit went by in a blur, but definitely the most fantastic blur of my live!! (So much flare left without the instructor)

One of those grinning days.  :P

Well Done, you will see how awesome it is to fly alone now. Finally when you put a pax in the back again you realise how much it affect performance.

Problem is once you get licenced everyone wants to fly with. I eventually lie and say I am not flying the weekend to get a solo flight in.
