Starting to dope the whole shebang tomorrow. While dope drying, will look at dem weeengs. Eibo. Eish jojojojo. Mmmmmm. Painted ourselves into all sorts of corners here. Some seriaas reverse-engineering will be in order here. Damn.

Silver doped the fus and gatveertjies. :D Camera let me down big time, so unfortunately no pics. We are far along with the wings. Had to remove the WHOLE leading edge of BOTH wings. Things went slaaaaiiitly out of sequence somewhere. Anyway, thing now going back together in the right sequence. It is now seriously starting to look like an aerie. Alas, no colour sceme has yet been decided on. any help?? Anyone?? :D

I like this combination of colours. I would make the red deeper and it will need a bit of tweeking as wings and Gatveere will be in red rather than white, but I laaaik it - Gold spinner en all.

For what its worth Boet, I liked your idea of cream/beige with wine red trim. I would really go well with that mill!

Mmmmm. So what`s RV to say about this?? Personally I think the gold looks a little "vaal". The red will go better with a royal blue, black or a dark red secondary trim colour. Red and white aeries are allways nice looking. :D

Painted everything white this morning. Paint will be dry enough to start with the trim on Monday. :D Bloody camera let me down again today. BEEG hammer......someone??

Today we painted the red trim on the fus and the tail feathers. The red paint must dry untill wednesday before I can put the secondary trim colour (Gold) on. On with all the small jobs while the paint is drying. :D
