Ballistic Chute

Postby Bacchus » Wed Sep 19, 2007 10:48 pm

What does it cost to repack a ballistic chute, to replace the rocket, how often should it be done and where can it be done?

Lots of questions :?

Hi, Bacchus! Rescue chute is an easy decision. A second chance is a bargain at any price.
Lotsa questions re repack needs lotsa info.
Got a BRS? 6 year repack, 12 year rocket replacement. Through Aviation Engines or direct, look at R7000 freight to USA, R7000+ back from USA, probably another R7000 for renewal. Maybe half-price half-cycle without the rocket.
Got a Junkers? Freight single about R2000 each way, renewal quess R5000.
Got a UHS? 5-year repack. Just hope it still works, the manufacturer does not seem to.
Got a GRS? 6 year repack, new rocket included, R5500 there and back now. See www.galaxysky.cz

R21000 in total!!??? Won't it be cheaper just to buy a new one? (Or take a chance that the old one will still work  )[/quote]
