Placo - agent and supplier for Aircraft Spuce

Postby wildthing » Tue Sep 11, 2007 11:23 am

Hi all.

Placo has entered the light sport, experimental, microlight market.
We are the agents for Aircraft Spruce in Africa and will be stocking a wide range of Parts, Accessories, Gear, Engines, Tyres, Props, Pilot Supplies
for this market.
In order to offer the best range of stock at the right prices we would need some feedback from the market as to what they would like to see and have available to help light sport aviation.
We also represent a wide range of aircraft kits and will be offering some LSA complete built aircraft.
If anybody has any suggestions or questions please let us know how to help you to keep flying.

Hi,

Do you perhaps have a catalogue available?

Hi and welcome Wildthing
Please post an email address we can use for you. Also please post an idea of the markup you will use of parts from Spruce as well as lead time for non-stock items.
Henni, the Spruce catalog is available as a download on the net.

Spruce Catalogs

Postby wildthing » Tue Sep 11, 2007 2:06 pm

Yes the Spruce catalog is downloadable from the net.
I dont have spare catalogs but will be happy to get some extras.
The prices we charge from Spruce is exactly the same as you pay on the NET or from the Catalog plus our shipping! The big difference is that we ship large volumes every week and our consolodated shipping cost is a lot lower that any private individual or small company can ship and land these items at.
Due to the volume and freight forwarding our clearing times are a lot faster as well.

We will be have a Spruce Shop where we will keep the more popular items
in Stock and deliver anywhere in the country.
The Shop will be located at Rand and stock can be orderd from our Wonderboom. Lanseria or Rand Branches.
The main focus from our side is to offer you these items as quickly and inexpensive as possible.
We also have a fully fledged Pilot Shop.

e-mail is pierrel@placo.co.za or call 0723594234

Hi Wildthing,

This is good news because it will remove the hassle factor when self importing and hopefully reduce the cost per component due to your bulk shipping every week.

May you and your company division go from strength to strength.

Good Luck
