Oil question again
I purchased three boxes of TTS at a helluva special price some three years ago. I am currently 1/2 way through the last box. What do I do now? Has anyone on the forum changed from TTS to Super Chain Saw? Will this have any effect on my silver top 582 that has been so dependable? If it is OK to change, could I switch to Caltex or should I stick with Castrol? Any advice or stories of experiences in this regard will be welcome!
Oil
I switched from TTS to Chainsaw 10 hrs ago on my 582. So far so good. Probably too early to draw any conclusions though.
I did not flush the system. I simply started adding Chansaw.

Hi Guys, a friend of mine switched from TTS to Super Chainsaw 200 od hour's ago on his silvertop 582 and the engine is still purring like a kitten
Super chainsaw is a excellent oil and very cheap. My Windlass has now got 500hr's on that stuff without a probl and I do training with mine.
