Howzit Peters funny enough i am only on my 7th hour i have started my landings and approach already,i know the close to the ground stuff is abit freaky but you should get use to it after a while remember small movements of the bar, i made the mistake of janking the bar when close to the ground because i was afraid...Trust the plan.....Anyway enjoy the flying (^^)

Look to the end of the runway and trust your instincts

:oops: the first circuit was bad:( there was a trike taking off and i was to come in on finals so i just extended the down wing and then on finals i dive bombed 03...needless to say what a mess :oops: ag i just tried again and again, then i stared getting things right :o as i decide to round out i looked up ahead and could experience the floating and then the sink as i looked ahead i could adjust the bar and finally touch down with a few nudges from my instructor :shock: Made me realize how hard flying is but Herman says the hardest thing about flying is the ground. a big thank you to you guys for your advice :D

hey david...i train there, we met :D i was in the first slot approach and landings :oops: not giving up ever :evil: i am mad at myself today...i am flying twice a week now only on 11 hours. i wanna go solo...had a feast while you went up the second slot. man i think the guys should have their names on their flight suits cause brekkie was served and i did not recognise any one from the forum...no, no, i met cobra and werner my great freind herman, peter wood and wife, hans's wife and daar wit en daar wit. I am also a bekkie man and will use the moments to fly to any brekkie...Lastly dave...i could see how you felt after your flight...yes we should fly more :!:

Hi David welcome to the forum I have only been here for a week also but getting to know so good people and believe me these guys know what they talking about hey, anyways just a quick question I am starting my MPL at the end of this month and I am keen to go to microland, the guys sound awesome who are you training with at the moment there...

And how far are you into your licence?

Well at the moment i am only seven hrs in on my licence, :roll: i tell you what it does not matter who you fly with anyone of those instructors are brilliant i started off flying with Mervan on the Raptor i did my first two hrs with him,very fun guy to fly with......i have flown with Henk twice as well and i have done my remainding hrs with Hans(OU BAAS) 8) Like i said all 5 of the instructors are great and care alot about ones safty and a plessure to fly with...... :wink:
