Yea she is almost ready, Gearbox was making a whineing sound, opened it and found the gears to be horribly worn. Oil Has never been changed in it's life i suppose  Gearbox not serviceable. Must replace gears. I have sourced a set of gears just gotto collect and i am still waiting for a B Box Gasket from Aviation engines then i can reassemble and get her to crosswinds hopefully this weekend.

Keen to try this as a passenger first

Postby Apollo » Wed Oct 03, 2007 9:54 pm

Hi all
Does this "Friday is Flyday" thing still apply?
Would it be a good opportunity to try out microlighting as a passenger?
Please let me know as I'm keen to give it a try.....

Demon, sorry that we missed you on Sunday. The Kroon chaps are late starters in the afternoon. To much nice stuff to do at home Sunday afternoons.

We will keep a lookout for you.

Not so long then we will have a GT 450 at Kroon, it is already packed and off to the coast.
