I have also been doing some investigating of Skyranger. Very good value for money, and great performance with 912 or Jabiru.
Problem is trying to land at Microland......anyone know of similar aircraft (performance and price) that has better STOL capabilities?

Andre I dont get out to Microland often, but a mate of mine drives past there every morning to work. He says that there are guys flying every morning if the wx is fine and mentioned that there is a 3 axis (black & White) flying from there regularly.

I was very surprised to hear this since i was under the impression that Microland was strictly trikes only. So I phoned Tjoek who hangars his Cobra there and he confirmed that there is a Bantam which resides at there. He says that thing takes off in pretty much the same distance as his 582 Cobra. He also said that he had heard that they might be lengthening the runway/s at Microland. If thats the case it may well become feasabe to keep some 3 axis erries there? :?:
