Hangar needed desperately

Postby Henni » Mon Aug 13, 2007 8:12 am

Hi everyone,

Up to now I've been very fussy when looking for another hangar for my baby, especially with regards to runway lengths.

Well, after this weekend, no more! - I cannot and I will not tolerate any more damage caused by others to my aircraft. So, can anyone help please? I need a lockable hangar for a 3-axis microlight and I need it like yesterday. (In the PTA/JHB/HARTIES/CULLINAN area) Runway length, location & surroundings not a problem, I will simply adapt.

Any help or suggestions highly appreciated, but please just help me quick! I would hate to dismantle, but if I do not find anything before this next weekend, then this is exactly what I'll do.

Get hold of Hans at Microland.

I know they fly 3-axis there now as well as trikes.

Runway might be an issue.

Thanks guys.

Has anyone perhaps got a contact number for Lazertronix? (I think it's Trevor, not sure anymore) Someone mailed it to me previously, but I've misplaced it since.

Also, someone mailed me a contact number for Microranch before which I've also misplaced (sorry!). Can someone help out again please?

Dish, would you not consider swopping hangerage with me, even if only temporary, as it wil serve in the best of both of our current interests?

Henni,

Sorry mate, just saw the part intended for me. Im afraid I will not be moving my plane for a good couple of weeks. Few things need to be organised before it goes, so im afraid i cant accomodate your time frames mate..

Apologies

Hi everyone,

For security reasons and also for peace of mind, I'm going to dismantle my aircraft tomorrow for two weeks only, before moving her to her new home.

Is there no one who can perhaps assist with temporary hangarage for a two-week period only at a pre-agreed rate in the JHB/PTA area? It will save me a lot of work.

Thanks,
Henni

Seems you want outa you current hangerage pronto Henni

Nothing serious I hope. Hanger rash happens everywhere mate - As long as someone owns up and tells you before you fly.

I use to hanger with an X-Air - Nerve wrecking moving that bird in and out - But had an agreement with hanger buddy that if we accidentally bump we own up and sort out the damages later on - Same rule at FAAP, although hanger buddy is Darkhelmet that will own up if he sneezes near Precious

Hi Big D,

I doubt if it's as simple as mere hangar rash, but let's just leave it there. And yes, I want out pronto!

CHARLIE WHISKEY, I phoned Basie & might just take you up on your offer - will give it some more thought tonight.

Keep well,
Henni
