Operating costs

Postby Bennie Vorster » Sun Aug 05, 2007 10:28 am

It would be very interesting to have a comparing list of operating costs per hour on all the differant ufo's we all are flying. So please put yours down here.

  A gyro can accomplish about 85% of what a helicopter can do at about 20% of the cost.
With operating costs of under $25 per hour a Xenon gyroplane is within affordable reach of even the smallest communities for law enforcement work.

Growing old is far more dangerous than flying !!!

Ah Bennie.... Im so glad the truth has finally dawned on you  So when will you be getting your gyro :?: :?: "Magnificent flying machines they truly are"

Flying costs in the Ela I've owned for around 400 hrs was very cheap.
Basically boils down to fuel, plugs, oil and filters...
Fuelburn was around 15L/hr on average.
Now if you ad insurance it becomes a different ballgame. :(
