Any comments on the Garmin 96 GPS

Any comments on the Garmin 96 GPS

I am in the process of looking at a GPS, namely the Garmin 96.
Anyone got any comments, good / bad / anybody have one, what are your feelings on this model?? Any help is appreciated

The other day someone posted that the Garmin 96 was easy to use???
ANy idea who that was??

kb, you need at least a Std 8 to operate any GPS!!

The manufacturer should have warned you :lol: :lol: :lol:

Just got a 96C. Haven't flown with it yet, but it looks stunning on my dash in my bakkie :D

As far as usability, it seems to be pretty much the same as the other Garmins I have used. There are a lot more options in the menu's because of it's increased functionality, but once setup, it really is simple.

Hopefully I will get to fly this Sunday (for the first time in 5 weeks), so I will have a better impression of how it performs in the air...
