Took off Fri afternoon, Wx was clear and smooth but EGT's running very high - headed back to land - Trevor Davies played around with the engine but I did not get time to test it as dark was coming in -

What time were you guys flying on Friday?

Cos it was pretty bumpy out of Circus in the afternoon, very entertaining for a student pilot!

You should have been flying with us at AP Saturday at 1 pm - My hands have still not released the "papegaai grip"

Nice pics - Yip was me checking out the balloons early that morning - From there Roodekoppies, Breakfast at Kokeriba, Vaalkop, Past Pilanesburg west of Rustenburg - Shaky, shaky  and home again. Had no lift flying at 12h30 - Except for thermals, Charlie Whiskey said same - You experience the same Cobra?

Cheers

Kokeriba
Indeed - Although it is now known as Kakariba by the Kroon and FAAP guys as everyone always has to make a "pitstop" there

Holiday resort with runway and excellent breakfast for R40

Don't have co-ords but easy - If at Roodekoppies line up the dam wall from west to east (not allowed to land there of course  ) now carry on and fly a little to the left (North) and you will see the runway 3 miles away from the dam

It is now our regular Saturday breakfast spot

Looks a bit breezy out Harties way, but I have two intro's coming from the Vuildriehoek, so will have to pucker my zorst and act brave.
