Ouch, been there, done that. Comes from trying to ride a Honda Blackbird across a muddy rugby field at a County Fair. Complete dislocation of the clavicle ending up in it pointing straight backwards. I still got back on and rode 140km home. Adrenaline does amazing things.

Due to the ligaments being torn off I ended up having to have surgury to repair.

He owns a brick yard. I told him not to jump of the stacks but you know how difficult it is to get rid of those child hood memories of Superman.

But seriously he's still not revealing what happened. Speak up Tower.

Suck Tower   ! Please do tell what happened. How long will you be out of action?

I hope it wasn't while flying, cause so far everyone is getting hurt away from the airfield which means we must stay there

Hope the pins eventually come out and all heals well!

To keep the record straight, the fact that my plane is at solowings for major repairs and I went to Sandton Medi Clinic to have major repairs are pure coincidence!

The shoulder is due to four reasons!

1 Dirt road
2 Speed :D
3 Beer
4 Top heavy hilux

The reason for the plane is confidential!

Ja-ja Massimo, some of us know all about those Superman delusions
Tower, surely those serious injuries are not caused by jumping from the chandelier and shouting Geronimo, hehe

I can relate to this too, came off a motorcross bike in August last year and bust the collar bone. I had a plate put in as it was a nasty break, but the plate shifted a few months later.

The Doc agreed that it would have to come out but only after 6 months minimum. I had to live with a really nasty bump where the plate was threatening to break through the skin. Anyway it was removed just before the Easter weekend.

The plane's authority to fly is being done now and my MPL is about to be renewed also - I'll eventually get back in the saddle

Thank you for the offer Demon, we tend to have meetings on Friday afternoons  but I'll stay in touch by phone for some other occasion.

I have to fit a new throttle cable and get the Annual finished, hopefully this coming Saturday then CAA next week.

Skies beckon 8)
