That is when the dammin weather plays along. :twisted: Been in the situation where I book three hrs a week, and the weather plays havoc on four of those, mist in the morning, rain midday and thunder showers late afternoon.. :evil: :evil:

......yip , this AM , first trip out to practise precautionary landings outside GF......wind @10kts on take-off , routing Microland-Kittyhawk-Bapsfontein....touchdown 30min later at Microland......wind 15kts ,gusting 20kts......a little green and shaky ^?^ ....1 landing done!........not so much more whooo whooo, but .......eishhhh! #-0 .....another lesson learned.

Hi all thanks for keeping this topic alive,in the past month or two i have been trying to get myself organzised so that i can finish my licence and join all the big boys in the adventure,but all i have tryed has failed :( so there wont be any update on my progress for the next few months,flying only one hour a month is just not enough,but ill keep my spirites and hope for the best!!!! :lol:

....did my pre f/test test today! :lol: weather permitting I should get a chance to test by tuesday.Thought I was going to feel more excited ......... :-(-(

Merv did pre and Fanie " Top Gun" Deysel my flight test! Pity about the crappy weather.....just want to fly now! Can not wait to get my kite.....want to fly across Africa........($$) !!!!!!!!!!

Ok so, if they have a Bantam in the school, who is doing the training on it and at how much per hour?? :roll:

Both Mervyn and Henk. Mervyn to my knowledge has flown many hours in the bigger stuff.

Hi guys well i am just keeping everyone up to date with my progress i have booked 2 lesseons on the 3 August one for 7:30 and the other for 9:00 i am telling i cant wait its been awhile,and funny enough i have not forgotten anything which hopefully means i wont have to recap anything i hope :wink: ^*^^

ya david i'm training there too! but i think you must have your mpl by now!...here i am only 11th hour approach and landings...just cant get that ground rush right...i round out too high ... what the hell... i just go round again. but i gotta get it down cause the feul can only last so long...

Where are your eyes focussed? Don't focus on the runway between your feet but rather on the end of the runway. Allow lateral vision to give you the height above the ground.
