Prob cross around Long Tom pass or Grasskop

Now definately have Dieselfan as Wingman and Charlie Whiskey is worried about us so he is probably going to fly along to keep an eye on us :lol:

Hi Big D,

another aspect you shold take into consideration if you cross the escarpment are fog and clouds, especially in the early morning. I have driven many times over the Long Tom pass. From Lydenburg to the pass all clear, but once you cross the Mauchsberg, there are lots of clouds below with Sabie etc. all completely socked in. So plan for an alternative, and be prepared to turn back when you cross the escarpment.
