AP now FAAP

Postby Big-D » Mon Jun 18, 2007 10:05 am

Aviators Paradise is now a registered airfield.

What does it mean? I don't really know. I acted all happy with the other Pilots when Dale told us this week-end, don't know what I was happy about

Maybe there will now be hot topless softnesses washing the owl-crap off my wing once weekly - Who knows?

I am merely the AAP flying from FAAP :D

Ahh

So theoretically should a RV4 pilot decide to land his RV at FAAP and take some oke for a flip around the Dam, insurance would not be a problem - Good to know

Anytime. (Been there a couple times with the Meercat, but it been deserted...)

PS
Insurance is not a problem for me personally. I have it specified on insurance that I will be landing on unlicensed strips. (main reason for this is that many of the municpal strips I use weekly (like FAVB, Bloemhof, Wollies, Schweizer, Delareyville, Prieska, Postmasburg etc ) have let their license expire, thus use is at own risk. It also then covers me to use the farms strips    as well. Only requirement is that I took all precautions to ensure it safe for landing. Low level pass and often pre landing inspection on foot...

Hi Big D
Seems to be a common comments from aviators that AP is deserted when they fly there. Not sure what solution is...maybe keys under mat and fresh muffins cupboard.
