Why is it that when you see pics like these you get the urge to go fly?
Will see what the Wx is like in the morn - was a bit windy this afternoon,

Thanks for posting the nice pics KFA, 'twas a great days flying and I look forward to doing it again soon.
That Westerly was still blowing about 20kts above 5000 feet, took me about 40 minutes to get to Komati in the morning and about 1hr 15 to get back.
Pity the wounded buff search did not happen, that would have been really cool!
Guys, KFA is putting together a very nice setup there at Komatipoort, lovely area to fly in, flat landscape with lots of LZs. See the Prawn festival thread, should be a good jol!

Boet, die brieke is beter maar nog steeds k@k. Gaan 'n paar ander truuks ook try.

Today's weather was also very lekker. Me and Winglett went on his first dual x-country and it was perfect. Glad to year you enjoyed the day Rick. The new hanger floor section for the building of the explorer is also finished so should start building during next week.

Mogas I am going on a wildebeest search tomorrow at six, will see you maybe tomorrow when you come fishing?

KFA test flight

Postby Mogas » Tue Jun 12, 2007 6:36 pm

We did some work on ZU-BUN today, brakes and carbs. She flies very well.
We also took turns looking for a wounded buffalo, lots of low level steep turns over thick bush. KFA found it. :D
