Rotax 912UL/ULS Fuel Pump Exchange Program

Postby Aviation Engines » Mon Jun 04, 2007 1:04 pm

A range of 912UL/ULS engines have required a change of the fuels pumps per SB-912-053. The exchange program expires at the end of June 2007 and any exchanges after this date will have to be paid for.

If you have the old Pierburg pump, with the name “Pieburg” printed on the face of the fuel pump, this DOES NOT need to be replaced and is not covered by the exchange program.

If you have the newer pumps with the letters “AC” printed on the face, check the part number which is inscribed on the flange of the pump.
Replace if you have the following parts numbers:
892230 / 892232 / 892540

However, if your engine is equipped with the newer pump (AC), but it has the part number 892542 inscribed on the flange, this DOES NOT require changing.

The following engine serial numbers are affected:
-912 UL from S/N 4,407.646 to S/N 4,408.361
-912 ULS from S/N 5,646.084 to S/N 5,648.164

Should you require the fuel pump on your engine need to be changed, send a message to amith@aviation-engines.co.za and include the following information:
Full Name
Telephone
e-mail address
Engine Serial Number
Current operating hours

N.B. We will require your old pump before delivering the new unit.
