What model Sony camera do you have. I have sony as well. It can take a "half moon AV plug" to allow RCA plugs. If you post model no I will hav a look and se if you can connect AV.

Sorry, but it does not appear to have any input capability. There is a firewire to RCA cable, but it appears to be only for output.

Bulltercams work best with PVR's anyhow - PVR straight to hardrive
Chat to DarkHelmet - He has a nice setup with Ricoh PVR running off its own battery pack, switchbox + custummade wing mounts (Jenya made for him)
I imported a bullet cam from Helmetcamera.com - Same as what Damien uses for his Microlight movies - Quality is unreal 575lines
Hopefully DH will help me mount this weekend or the next
Cheers

Hi Walter
If I remember correctly it stands for Personal Video Recorder. Your "Handy Cam" would have to have an AV In connection to use with the bullet cams and this is generally on the higher end models - my apologies for not making that point earlier. I know how you feel though - I went through the same learning curve when I put my system together.
Regards
Sebastian

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Cool thing about video is that you experience it again
Link to some local flying around FAAP - My editing ability is not on par with Damian or Mark, the scenery is very nice though (Harties and surrounds)
This was shot with normal Canon DV and Manfrotto bal and clamp, some of the shots towards the end of DH shot with bulletcam and PVR
You will need a Div-X codec to view:

(54mb – High Resolution – Good quality)

(19mb – Medium Resolution – Reasonably good quality)
