Awesome shot. I'm also chomping at the bit and it looks even worse from Hout Bay side, believe me. Maybe tomorrow!

Yes I think you could - the road serving as strip is more than 800m - but you could phone the owner buffelfontein.co.za to make sure the width that is cleared of bush is enough.

Am still considering the Carnavon weekend. I have the week free and it will be such a waste spending it doing all the odd jobs around the house which A has planned for me. If I can motivate someone to go with.

I'll contact buffelsfontein, will be good to see you and Graham, D seems willing just some family matters and weather. Carnavon will be great enoy it every year. Get to see old and new friends. Our breakfast at the wind pomp resturant - the best pomp op die dorp - is a must, have a pic of Jphan and wynand wind pomp an afrikaans singer, ask D about his music she loves it.

Mr Jannie.
All I can remember about Carnarvan that it was sooo cold, hide and seek when going for a pee!! Flew back at 8000ft with every bit of clothing I had on me and still had to land and defrost!!

Who's the sweet chap, janpetcc ?? NOT YOU .

Graham.
