At last, a happy ending for all.

C205 found herself an exceptional MXII & I've just upgraded to a Mizer!

You trike okes can now start getting used to me whizzing past you for a change - nah, just joking. But I will be slightly faster from now on and I WILL also be able to go places for a change.

Look out for the blue rocket in your flying area soon ('')

Henni,

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. I'm in Jo'burg and it seems no-one knows what an MXII is up here, let alone a Skyfox. "Skyfox?Whaddat?"

Did you buy the Morningstar Mizer?

Anyway, to you and C205, well done on your new wings. Happy, safe flying, folks.

Hi Rooikat,

Yes, thank you so much to Morph for the link!

I am delighted - Asked the KRII guys for a final lowest price, then spoke one last time this morning to a very knowledgeable person about the Skyfox/Mizer choice and then immediately commited.

This Mizer is definitely the most performance for money aery that I can afford for now and should keep me happy for a long time to come. Plus I would really enjoy going places with the rest of the guys for a change.

Next step now is the very, very long drive to collect. (Not a first for me!) I did consider flying it back, but first of all I need a legal conversion and to attempt such a long flight with a complete unknown (to me at least) aircraft might be just a little risky. The engine will first have to prove itself to me within close proximity of easy landing strips. I am older but not bolder now.

Little did I know that my top choice in my advice to you would become mine so soon!

I hope to be back in the air within the next two weeks & am really looking forward to it.

Regards,

Henni

Here's what I had & what I now should have soon. Ex MXII will see it's first rather long x-country flight soon when I deliver from Siera Romeo to Witbank. Wanted to leave this morning for Saldanha, but the weather down there is horrible at the moment. Hopefully it should clear within the next few days as I am rather anxious to collect my new toy.

Morph, thank you once again for linking me up with this Mizer!

Hi Dieselfan,

Nope, that's not the one I'm buying - but the only pic of the type I could find.

I believe mine is in an excellent condition. Committed myself purely from word of mouth information. I'll not loose another good deal like I did with the Parys Skyfox recently! Hope to fetch this week some time.

Now if anyone on this forumn has a lot of experience with this type, please speak up and tell me more based on your own experience. I'd like to know what's waiting for me. I've had a few flights in one and that's as far as my experiece goes.

Regards,

Henni

Hi Clem,

Thank you so much for the mail & the hearty telephone conversation.

All I can say is that I am way past being exited at this stage. I made the right choice!!! This aerie will keep me satisfied for quite some time to come as we're talking Piper cub/ Aeronca type performance and that's good enough for me!

Will keep you posted after first flight which is not too far off.

Kind regards,

Henni
