Managed to grab a few hours in at the Dome towards the end of the show, great to see Tailspin and his EAA effort, and Duck who was selling Teddies like there was no tomorrow. These guys by then must have been blerry moeg after being on their feet for 3 days.

Thanks for the visit Ace. Was good to see you again. Been a while.
Also thanks to Big David and Softness for stopping by for a chat.
Afskies and her family stopped by and supported us as well. (She had no choice...after all, I let her in for free :D )
And Tailspin and Mrs Tailspin brought their little Tailey to buy a teddy. A pretty little softness that definitely takes after her mother. The father's another story though......

I am physically "stuffed" after stuffing teddy bears and humouring little kids the entire weekend. 9 hours on your feet per day is no joke! Monetary wise it was well worth the effort. Pity I didn't get to see any of the spoils as Mrs Duck made off with the loot and left me with the packing up to do as well.

Mr Gaylord the Focker just about bounced me out the way on his way to the EAA exhibition without stopping to say hello  perhaps his mind was on the GT450 he just ordered?

Spent a couple of hours there on Sat arvie...
Thanks Duckie, you've got a winning formula there. What a gedoente! We spent more time at your stand than anywhere else. Thought it would be difficult to choose from all the cuddly bears, bunnies & doggies, until we spotted the cute Siberian Husky with his rakish blue eyes & pink tongue. Chose a red heart for him, wrote his name on it with a secret message, who he belongs to and who the giftie was from, in very small writing to make it all fit. Then we had to "kiss the heart to bring it to life" and pop it into the right place inside his fluffy chest. Miss Duckie switched on the "Dream Train" stuffing machine & we watched as Husky puffed up into shape and she zipped his back up securely. Mrs Duck then dressed him in his smart blue dungarees, made sure his flufftail fitted comfortably, and voila! the surprise pressie was ready to wing its way to a little boy with equally shiny blue eyes in the UK. Bearie, bearie good fun, thanks to Mr & Mrs & Miss Duck :) :D
We said hi to Karel Zaayman and his team at The Aviation Shop stand, it looked as if they needed eyes in the backs of their heads to cope with the crowd :D
Last but not least, there was Tailspin & his Evans VP1 that is nearing completion, & Iandd with his KR2-or-Raven whatchamacallit, depending on the final shape of the cockpit canopy & a bit of poetic licence on the tail section, hehe 8) :D
I'm sure all the exhibitors breathed a sigh of relief once it was all over and they could pack up & head for home    :D

Hi All

Yea totally buggered after the whole 5 days i was there. Definately thinking about changing Duckies name to Stuffed Teddy cos at times he was looking like a real stuffed teddy
And Tailspin and Mrs Tailspin brought their little Tailey to buy a teddy. A pretty little softness that definitely takes after her mother. The father's another story though......
What can i say i only make beautiful children they don't necessarly need to take after my fantastic looks (!!)

p.s. If anybody sells a kit and i don't get comission i am defiantely gonna hurt somebody. Gave out alot of information and alot of people thought we were totally nuts to not be actually selling anything. So anybody comes to you to buy a trike, Kit aircraft or to just come flying. You OWE ME BIG !~
