Ok here goes the scribbly one's TGIF report
took off at 16:00 with the Rietfonteiners, led by Demon and his pax Pumba (back in SA for a week), Propwash, & Jack aka Mario in his non-flying life (whassat
), and Ratman. We headed out towards Orient to meet up with Abe, but he was already ahead of us (ja-ja, the trikers had to give the Beaver a bit of a head start, hehe...) and we caught up with him at Olifantsnek Dam where BIG-G was parking off for the weekend. Then on down the valley to Buffelspoort Dam and further (bye-bye to Abe along the way) to Harties and back home to Rieties. :D
Thanks guys, and a big hug for the ever-willing Rattie for letting me take the back seat, nearly 2 hours of fab Flyday fun
:D

My Friday was hectic and flying did not cross my mind. Satuday morning started with some emrgency brake repairs on the service van and after some deliveries mommy was treated toi some retail therepy. It was after 17:00 when ma said come I'll join you to the airfield as it was a beuatiful late afternoon. Within 5 min we hit the road, and I was airborne by 18:00 till just before 19:00 and it was awsome, just around the cabbage patch and I almost got ma into the plane, I now think it will still happen.

Just flew from FAGM to FABB. Wind is picking up (easterly 10kts) and the QNH 1030. High QNH would suggest otherwise, but wind supports some WX, but it is bumpy as hell and Viz is K@K.
