Grandpa's only - there was a "Monster" on my trike !!

Postby John Young » Tue Feb 27, 2007 1:38 pm

My seven year old grandson is passionate about flying and aviation in general.

I took him up again on Sunday in perfect conditions for an hour. He loved every minute.

His mom doesn’t want me to leave the circuit, but still it’s HUGE fun.

And man, does he have questions while in the air – non-stop Ask :?: Ask :?: Ask :?: But that’s good.

Like I said, only qualified grandpa’s will really understand these joys of being a grandpa.

Are there any other grandpa’s out there who can post a picture of their monster/s flying?

Regards

Oh so now that you okes are getting older normal parents are not elligible anymore only grand parents count.

Ja Boet I suppose we will all eventually get to the GP stage but I have told my boys to be careful with kids as they are very expensive and a pretty shitty investment as they only take and never give anything back.

Duckie when is your errie flying boet?

John I have 5! Grandsons. Ouma won't let them fly - keeps on saying "Oor my doeie ligaam sal die kleinkinders met jou vlieg" So last month my oldest GS comes up to me and whispers" Oupa, eendag as Ouma dood is sal ek met jou vlieg!" But they love just being with me at the hangar though.

RH - that is fantastic. Trick is to get some granddaughters to keep granny occupied while you take the "Monsters" flying.

OK, so now we count 3 grandpa's - great :!: :!:
