Microlight Video - Flying Mystical Shiprock

Postby tdrtw » Sat Feb 24, 2007 5:05 pm

All,

This was an adventurous weekend of magical flying to say the least! I brought along a friend - Alex who captured amazing ground to air footage of our 3 trikes. Its a large download, but hopefully worth it. There is a smaller version and youtube'ish version (google video) under the "add comments" button as usual.

Enjoy,

Damian your video's are great :D

I got a whole bunch of them from Dieselfan (I don't think he works, just downloads stuff :D )

DH and I have also started trying to shoot some video, not bad at all but we are still very much in our baby-shoes compared to your work.

I have sent you PM asking for some advice on wingtip camera's

Cheers

Damien your stuff rocks and is still ranked #1. The attention to detail in your clips is very witty. For those who don't know what I'm talking about have a keener eye and don't just listen to the narration...

Cheers All.

Big D -> Glad you enjoy the videos. I'll answer your PM in a day or so. It's getting late .. for me anyway :-) In terms of the wing tip camera, I put together a short video on how I did, if you haven't already seen it, here is a link:

Don't worry about being in baby steps, below is the very first video I ever shot on my trike with a cam strapped to the back seat (I was young and foolish so don't shoot me down for buzzing the cows!)

DieselFan - My hat goes off to you sir! Glad you enjoy the vidoes and subtle humour!! Your comments are always greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Damien

Wow, you guys sure have some awesome flying places.

What a great video, as have been all the past ones. Keep 'em coming, we can never get enough.

You should look at compiling a few DVD's with compilations of all your videos and making them available here (for those of us who have limited bandwidth!).

Nice one Damien,

Really enjoyed - now getting kicked out of the seat so that my "Monster" (grandson) can watch it before school.

Wart - yes we sure are spoilt around this part the world. I'm looking into a trip to a place called "Marble Canyon". It's situated between the Grand Canyon (located 30 miles south) and Lake Powell/Glen Canyon (15 miles north. The airstrip is situated in a 3000 foot canyon.

John - Glad you and your "monster" enjoyed it! Do you take your grandson for joy rides yet?

Cheers,

Damien
