Shumba Valley Farm and Frankfort

Postby Thunderboy » Mon Feb 26, 2007 3:36 pm

The Crosswinds and Thunderbird guys are doing a trip to Shumbavalley farm in May, we plan to stop over at Frankfort to refuel and refresh

Has anyone been to Frankfort and know of any contact person there and what the conditions are like - I did stop there briefly earlier this year while on the road and it looked in pretty good shape

Then for those of you that have been to Shumba - can you tell us of any fun things to do either by air or road (road with family)

Been to Shumba a few years ago by car, the kids did some horse riding there. The strip was in good condition, but there are some obstacles. Trees and powerlines on one side, mountains on the other. Could be interesting if there is a bit of a wind.
