Kiss my @ss

Postby Duck Rogers » Sun Feb 25, 2007 9:10 pm

As most of you will know by now, my dear friend Susanna Boesman aka Aerosan, has been struggling with the propeller and re-drive setup on his plane for the last 5 months.
Now, Susanna, being a very clever boy, refused to listen to good advice and reasoning gathered through the years by the esteemed Mr Rogers, and proceeded to fall around and fiddle with re-drives, new bearings for the re-drive, adjustable prop and fixed pitch prop etc.etc. ad nauseum.
Oh, and don't forget the lemon of a 618 he first had in the plane. He fiddled and whinged so much that I eventually sold him my 582 off my plane just to get him to shut up! But still, he hanna-hanna-ed and tried this, then that, then something else again. Everytime the same ole story "I can't get enough rpm out of this plane".
Eventually he tried to convince me to let him have my E-box and my propeller so he can conduct another "test". That was when I decided "enough is enough". So I says "Stop your kak now and listen up!" You have an adjustable pitch Warp drive prop, don't you? Now come with me and let's go and adjust that prop for the correct rpm"
"Ja, ok, but....." He started again. "No buts! This time just listen and do as I say!"
So we adjusted the prop and did a static run-up. Not enough rpm. So we adjusted it again. Now we gotta da plenty rpm's! "Ja but...... the guys at Warp recommend xyz pitch setting and now we've gone too fine", he goes on again!
"Susanna my boy, just stop fiddling and go fly the plane. To hell with what every Tom, Dick, Harry and his dog has to say about it. It WILL work and when it does, YOU CAN KISS MY ASS!" was my last words to him.
So he agreed and went to do a proving flight..........

Can I drop my silks as well? The answer was a firm "No!"

Well in my defence...I tried :(

Let me just say this never ever ever in your whole life say to someone" if this works Ill kiss your as......." because sometimes it works   :? and then, espesially if you made this bet in front of witnesses, you have to kiss some ass.

Well at least my plane is now flying well and Ill be going places so it took some ass kissing to get there but at least Im flying.

San

P.s. now I wonder who`s ass the gans is going to kiss to get his plane into the air??

  After spending so much time together on adjusting this & that & the other, Oom Eend & Susanna definitely need to get out more
So, Duckie darling, shake your tailfeathers & get your aerie going - then you guys can get up there & fly united  the view's a damn sight better than Sannie was subjected to during the butt-kissing episode
