air Creatio clipper 582

Postby MidlifeCrisis » Tue Feb 13, 2007 10:07 am

Hi dieselfan, Just want to ditto what Big D said about your clipper, I have the Air Creation xp Buggy with a 12 square metre wing, its awsome the speed you can get out of the plane, sink rate is obviously a bit more with smaller wing but the upside it handles turbulence very well.
I had the privalge of visiting the factory in France last year they are very professional and the new Tanarg with the 982 in the back is something to behold.
Happy flying in your air creation. [/i]

People in pic are (L to R), Andre (Skin's son), Mervyn (fiddling), DF's best man, Demon, and DieselFan behind Demon...and BigD side-on in the background.

I loved the fly by's Demon. That plane really performs.

Hi Andre,

I have been flying the cobra since June last year and it's 8). Probably nothing different than any other in its class but it is special

I have the Spirit 15 wing which is a great all rounder with a great rate of climb and average cruise. With the 77l tank and a fuel flow of 10-12l/h, the range is excellent with a cruise of 55mph on an average. The 582 engine has ample power even with 2 up and a full tank.

Cobra

Postby Tjoek » Sun Feb 18, 2007 10:13 pm

I fly Cobra 582 with Aeros Profi wing. Very happy with trike. Rugged undercarriage. Cruises 60 - 65mph hands off. Mine tends to be heavy on fuel (15 - 17 l/hr Solo), but with huge tank still has decent range.

We did once modify Twitch's old clipper by adding a toilet seat and shower head - he was not amused
But it does look a little like a bathtub

Hey Demon - thats my old plane you are calling a bathtub

I had a lot of fun in that Clipper- I later upgraded to a M/A Blade- faster and more stable :D

My very own wings

Postby andreb » Mon Feb 19, 2007 10:43 am

Hi Guys

You will be glad to know I am soon to be the very proud owner of ZU-DZY. Hendrik and I did a deal and I look forward to many hours of safe and happy flying.
Anyone know where I can get a Ballistic parachute fitted for a reasonable price?

Thanks to everyone who gave me advice and comments.

See you in the sky!

Andre
