462 Radiator cap

Postby psg » Mon Feb 05, 2007 1:33 pm

Hi All
I have a 462 and the radiator cap needs replacing i see that it has 13lbs on it, can i use a equivalent car cap or do i need to go to Rotax for a genuine? One of the ceramic insulators on the plug has cracked open ill post a pic soon just wandering what causes this from the top to the bottom.

Regards
Sacha

You can buy that radiator cap from Rotax ONLY. All the automotive caps available are too short. :D

Had same issue checked this weekend, AutoZone caps are either too short or too fat but only cost R20. Rotax part is almost R400  it's got writing in German on it
