Rotec now delivered to the weldshop for engine mount construction. Will try to make a dent in the project over Xmas hols...

Latest quote I got from Aus for the R2800 looks certain to bring it in about R5k under the price of a 912 (80hp) and that includes EVERYTHING ie, Engine, mounts, ring collector, shipping, Alt, starter, etc

Now all I gotta do is find a decent kit to mate it too... :P :P =;

Was thinking of being different and haning it on the front ofa Zlin Savage but somehow it just wouldnt be right (and darn pricy too), so then i though hhhmmm how bout the new Super Sport from that other lookalike company - also pricy) and then i reckoned maybe a Hybrid like

Super Sport Fuse, Explorer wings and off course the piece de resistance a complete Grove undercart with brakes, wheels etc. Add to that a moulded windshield (instead of that ghastly Helmet visor stuff) a laser cut Ally dash with the only REAL instruments in em, GPS and transponder,
and this way will have a smokin'ly good looking strong, light machine with excellent load ability, brill gear and some local content :lol: :lol: 8)

.. of wat se jy Boet :P :P ;);) ... (he doesn't like it .. the Radial I mean.. and is even starting to punt the 912 over the 582.) :twisted: :wink:

Anyway.. still trying to get the ol $$$ together before i make any moves -0<

Builder has been ID'd. RV is handeling neg's. If all goes according to plan :twisted: :twisted: it should roar well before end of year.... :wink:

Builder has been "appointed". I am away so RV is hadeling it. Build will start again in Mid May and agreed time frame is 7-8 months.. :lol: :lol:
