Wives and microlights

Postby Bald eagle » Thu Feb 01, 2007 2:18 pm

I went up to Jo burg where Larry Buzzcom taught me to fly Trikes...excellent instructor. But flying can be a lot more expensive than you bargain for . I had over 850 hours on my trusty Aero trike Scout and then took this chick for a fly up and down the Transkei coast. Next then I was pomping, next thing divorced , next thing remarried and not allowed to fly again. She says its dangerous...not sure what she means. I now live near POPHAM airfield in the UK. Fantastic bunch of guys but a little time and hopefully be back in the air hopefully. Never take woman passengers.

Just about every day this week, the girl-pilots have out-numbered the guys at La Mercy...

Now we can take some of the young sexy guys for a rides... Those secluded beaches can cause problems for everyone... 8)

I was not allowed to fly about 4 years ago ## Got divorced ($$) Then I met this girl at the airfield a year ago =D* :-(-( battle to get her in the air for 5 months [0* [0*

O BOY AND WHAT A MISTAKE,

can’t get her out of the trike even if I pay her. Normally I was the one that wake the Wintervogel gang and beg them to be at the airfield a 05:00 – 05:30.

Now she is the one to kick me out of bed to go and fly.

Every time we returned to the airfield to land and stop flying for the day , she ask me if it is really necessary.

Am I blessed or what ? ?

Must say. This is true. This softness cannot stay out of the air! And she is goodlooking too!
What our friend John does NOT mention to you fellow aviators, is that he also started mini golf, cooking lessons, sunbathing at clifton, watching the sun set from Table Mountain, evening walks, cycling, feeding ducks at the local pond, romantic dinners, decorating the bathrooms with candles, washing his car, wearing billabong clothes etc.

I agree with him. THIS softness had a HUGE impact on his life!!!

But she does make nice coffee for all of us every time we fly. We are now just waiting for the invitations to one of John's gourmet dinners.......
