Saw it on the front page of the paper today. The photo they had looks nothing like him! So I thought it must be another Alan.

Very shocked and saddened. :(

I pray Alan makes full recovery and continues his good work to make our country safer. -0<

SMS update from Donald

Postby ZULU1 » Fri Feb 02, 2007 7:55 pm

An update from Donald SMS quote "An update: Alan is spending short periods out of bed walking and sitting upright in a chair. The family are expecting a full recovery, "in time". Alan is expecting to go on the pending Mozambique trip. Suffice it to say, he is on the mend. I am told that he is not out of the woods yet, but Alan sees this a little differently of course." unquote.

So lets hope for the best for him and if I know Alan he will be writing something and eating a case of chocolate very soon...Doesnt drink but eats more chocloate than the entire forum..

He has received details from the forum and good wishes, thanks to all.

Great to hear he's up and about! Continue on your good and speedy recovery Alan! Who works at Beacon or Nestle? Perhaps we can sponsor him some hospital cravings.

This is really crap. Criminals should get shot, not the good guys. Real sorry to hear about this, and best wishes to Alan for a speedy recovery.

Government will wake up and take note of the effect of this BS only when they feel it hit home themselves. As long as it affects others, its not their problem.

Should we arrange something? Executive Outcomes??

During an interview with Tim Modise:

Mbeki said in a TV interview on Monday it was just a perception that crime was out of control.

Most South Africans would agree, he told interviewer Tim Modise.

"It's not as if someone will walk here to the TV studio in Auckland Park and get shot," said Mbeki.

"That doesn't happen and it won't happen. Nobody can prove that the majority of the country's 40 million to 50 million citizens think that crime is spinning out of control."

Will the f#&@ing clown with the silly little grin please go and tell Alan that he was only shot by a "perception"!

Alan, get well soon. Thinking of you.
