Our really good friend shot

Postby ZULU1 » Wed Jan 31, 2007 6:24 pm

I am unsure if its my duties to log this post but i am totally devastated by the sad news that our really good mate "Big Al" Alan Mackenzie was shot last night in Cape Town.

He according to reports is doing OK but lets all pray for him so that we can hear "Charlie Romeo Papa" back on the air waves again.

Its on the seven oclock news.

His good mate

Paul, Thanx for the message. I was just listening on the radio and wondering whether it is old Nemo (AlanMack).

Hope the recovery is quick and that everything goes well.

Message from Donald aka Hazzard

Postby ZULU1 » Wed Jan 31, 2007 7:28 pm

I quote his SMS "A Note to friends. Alan was shot (7 times) last night for reasons still to emerge. His condition is serious but stable. I chatted to him in hospital for about 20 mins today ( he hen needed to sleep). He is weak and hooked up to tubes, but is coherent. I believe he will make a full recovery but the next 48 hours are critical. Please feek free to phone me for updates. I will post on SAmicro as soon as I have emailaccess." unquote.

For those who odnt knoe Nem or Big Al he is (was) last years editor of Micolighters magazine and a fluent xHosa speaker. He is seconded to the Government from Business against crime. A real Gentleman and a avid aviator. aka Nemo..another story !

Get well soon Alan Mack!!

Postby John Young » Wed Jan 31, 2007 7:31 pm

Phew :!: – get well soon Alan Mack aka Nemo da “Big Guy”.

I won’t say all here, but I “thinks” the attackers “hit” the wrong guy – ‘coz this man has huge clout in terms of the current Justice System.

Go & get ‘em Nemo – can’t feel sorry for them when you do :!: :!:

Time for some “pay-dirt” as in "Feel this you bastard".   "4 (or 7) Holes in me - now 4 (or 7) holes in your ... ".
