I am still on a high :P. Our one hanger mate bought himself a Harvard and I was the lucky one to fly with him as pax from Clanwilliam to Fisantekraal. Awsome experience. The Harvard use 32 gal/hr at cruise, 42 gal/hr when doing aerobatics and 72 gal/hr when taking off (it uses fuel to cool the engine on take-off) :shock: Here are some pics:

Ja, Ja. This is silly season this time of year - unbelievable hot (42 deg C today) temperatures with South Easters giving you an unbelievable klap, the worst time of the year for us Capetonians to fly. Lag maar, oor 3 maande is dit weer mooi groen by ons en gevrek daar by julle..... :twisted:

Lovely stuff man but I still say I willland the Bantam in the width of the Fisantekraal runways, but I think Loius will be the bliksem in.

flying in a spam is an experience and if you have not yet done it and you can DO IT.

Louie is maar so min of meer altyd de blikkies in oor iets....... :shock: So maak nie regtig saak wat jy op Fisantes aanvang nie.......dan het hy net REDE..... :D :D Ek het ook al n paar keer in n Harvard gevlieg. Wat n ondervinding! Dad, ek is GROEN.

GR8 dad, ek maak nou eers kjint groot. Met en op universiteit en een op Vredendal, is die tjieng skraps vir rondvlieg. Ek hoor maar julle vlieg so lekker rond. Kom kuier julle maar vir my, en geniet die unieke vryheid van vlug in my hoek. Hier is nie so baie berge om jou rond te gooi nie!
