Everyone has said it, Just remember your insructor will know when you ready so don't worry just enjoy the training for now.

Remember solo is not attained at a certain number of hours but when you competant and that varies greatly between different people. :D

Look forward to seeing your post under whos gone solo next :!:

Thanx for the replies. :D Put my mind to rest a little bit. I am pretty sure I will relax a bit when flying weather is better. ':- At one stage I was quite confident, but the training in the stiff cross winds really brought me back to earth - as a figure of speech  - smashed my confidence to pieces. :?

Eggbeater says:
At one stage my instructor and I debated putting large tyres on the Magni because I insisted on landing next to and not on the runway.

After training when I was pulling about two wheelbarrows of veldgrass from the gyro's wheels - Brakpan is a tar runway for the uninformed - my instructor remarked " Good to do some training in not so perfect weather."

With that I have to agree. Gives you a taste of what can happen out there if you do not concentrate on external factors. I am sure this was one of my more valuable training lessons. :P

Busy with my last 4 solo hours. Remember the first solo. You need to be nervous. Its great once you have the first 3 behind you. All that I could remember is that the movments need to be lighter, kept saying that to myself. Enjoy it, it's worth the wait
