With Engen you are number one

But Seriously sorry to hear about your problem and glad every thing went well.

This is why practice makes prefect and to practice your force landings as regular as possible (Me very guilty not doing it often enough)

The best thing is to listen to Boet and throw that engine out he is the professional with this.

Also rember that Goedkoop koop is Duur koop. Rather get a new engine if you whant to go the Rattex route contact Boet for the best option for your aircraft and buy New.

Hope things are well and remember to get back in the saddle as soon as possible.

Cheers
Cornell

Bennie did not crash it was a incident

So a incident report would be sufficient

Safe flying bennie let us know what is happening

The motor had been currier down to Villiers dorp "innie Kaap" where Arno who is building these motors for the Cubby's will be disassembling it next week and give us a postmortem of what went wrong and what wee need to do to get airborne again. He assured me that the motor would not leave his workshop if have not been fixed and tested 110% by himself. I'll keep you all posted.

Apparently my motor is only the second one of all the motors he had manufactured that seemed to have broken the cam and the previous one seemed to hade a pre ignition problem, something about firing to early and something to do with timing. :? Not that that tells me a lot with my expertise :? :? :?

Hi Bennie

Let me know what the prognosis is.

I learned that when assebling you do not bump or drop the cam as it can crack and have bad results.
