Microlight Video - Desert Winter Wonderland

Postby tdrtw » Mon Jan 08, 2007 5:41 am

Rick Cooper, Paul Sielicki and I welcomed the new year with an eerie flight over the desert covered in snow.

There is a smaller version, Mac Version and youtube link to the video below the "add comments" button.

Very cool as always, 9F was the temp at take off add wind chill factor thats flippin cold. I liked the comparison footage between snow and normal.

I gave a CD of your clips to a new elderly pilot who was struggling with landings and turbulence, saw him today and he was only praising you!!!! The instructor was surprised at his improvement compared to last year

^*^^ (^^) and asked where he got the "learning" Cd from 8), he has just got the internet and I've forwarded him your website,

Thanks Damien your clips have helped MANY including myself - not to mention make me envious of your scenery

Ace - The lowest I registered was 19F at 9,000. I showed a clip from weather.com of 9F, but that was what it stated when I recorded the scene - a little white lie??? maybe not. I did the wind chill on 19F at 43 mph, it was something silly like -21F

DieselFan - Thanks for that awesome feedback! Glad to know all the work I put into the videos pays off for lots of people. I love doing it, so its no skin off my teeth!

Tailspin - I give your comment 11 out of 10 :D

Cheers,

Damien
